Bridges are available to restore spaces if you want a fixed solution for missing teeth. The teeth adjacent to the spaces are shaped and impressions taken, and sent away to a dental lab to be fabricated. The prepared teeth are temporised. When the bridge is returned it is cemented/ bonded to the prepared teeth to replace the missing tooth or teeth.
A bridge may take the place of one or more missing teeth and the results can be excellent with good function and aesthetic results. With careful maintenance a well-made bridge can last many years.
