Adhesive bridge

An adhesive bridge is a prosthetic (false) tooth that is permanently fixed to one or both adjacent teeth to the missing tooth or teeth. It can be held in place by a metal wing that protrudes from the side of the prosthetic tooth, and is fixed with a strong adhesive onto the supporting tooth.

What are they made from?

The bridge can be made from porcelain bonded to metal, or metal- free zirconia (a high strength white mineral). Adhesive bridges can only be used where the supporting tooth is healthy with little or no filling. Adhesive bridges are much more conservative than traditional bridges.
